Clickher Mobile App
Curated Media, a Kentucky-based company, specializes in developing apps focused on beauty and fashion. Their flagship app, Clickher, is known for its expertly curated content in style and originality.
Service: UI/UX Design & UI Development, Platform Engineering, Software & Data Engineering
Industry: Digital Media, Fashion, Beauty.
Tech Stack: Swift, Java, Ruby on Rails, MySQL
Profile & Challenge
Clickher founders envisioned a mobile app targeting 18-39-year-old women passionate about style, quality and originality. Rather than using an algorithm to decide what content is stylish and original, the app would be super-curated to showcase hand-picked posts from a trusted group of editors. Since the editors were spread across the U.S. a centralized repository for managing text, images, videos and other digital assets would be critical to the app’s success.
SOLUTION & OUTCOME
Our user experience team started by collecting feedback from the target market on various screen layouts and content. We built a custom content management system (CMS) to make it easy for the editors to comb through hundreds of videos and blogs and select the very best to share in the app. We also provided ongoing support and monitoring post-launch.
Over 250,000 women in the USA who are passionate about beauty, fashion, and style installed Clickher on their phones.
